Univ.- Prof. Dr. med. Stavros Mentzos has published since the second half of 20th century. Mentzos returns to the work of Sigmund Freud and examines it from new perspectives. He is especially concerned with possibilities of further interpretations of psychoanalytic concept of diagnosis and therapy in the work of Freud as well as his students and followers in the field of deep psychology. Publication under review is published in Czech, translated from the German [Lehrbuch der Psychodynamik: Die Funktion der Dysfunktionalität psychischer Störungen].
