The book is a work of a French-Swiss team of renowned specialists. It aims to provide a basis for understanding the problems of cerebral apoplexy for rehabilitation nurses as well as a starting point for further scientific research that will help uncover the role neurocognitive mechanisms play in cerebral apoplexy. It contains chapters on motor difficulties, language disorders, neglect syndrome, agnosia, memory and executive functioning disorders, mood and behavioural disorders, aphrenias and right/left hemisphere syndromes.
