The reviewed book describes the inner world of people with dissocial personality disorder. The author is a Canadian psychologist Robert. D. Hare, who devoted most of his professional life to the investigation of this phenomenon. Hare is engaged in the research in the area of forensic psychology and also works as a consultant for an FBI centre which specializes in the investigation of children kidnapping and serial killings. The author occupies himself with psychopathy for more than thirty years and he also wrote many other books.
