Emoce. Regulace a vývoj v průběhu života [Emotions. Their regulation and development during life].
(review)

Hana Chýlová

The author of the reviewed book has been engaged in emotion related issues as a part of her research and development activities for many years. This book then summarizes her findings collected in many years of research but it also brings a lot of actual domestic and foreign research reports. Sources for presented facts are systematically and clearly listed and arranged in an unusually extensive list of source literature, 57 of total 240 pages are devoted to literature.

In the introduction the author presents the issue of emotions through the history. Further she introduces to the reader the structure of the book, which is divided into three parts which differ from each other by the form they are written in. A very pleasant thing for the reader is the author’s guideline which parts of the book are primarily intended for which segment of recipients.
