Mind, self and society
(review)

Ivan Slaměník

The original issue from 1934 (Mind, self and society) was created on the basis of Mead’s lecture notes from 1928. Lectures were arranged into the book version by Charles W. Morris, one of Mead’s students, later an important semantics theorist. Given its significance for the social psychology and sociology it was repeatedly published, last time in 2015 with “The definitive edition” subtitle in which there are certain text revisions, more accurate bibliographic links and also the context of origination is clarified.
