The title of the book aptly describes the issue it is dealing with. The cause of Alzheimer's disease and its’ cure is being researched and the system of care, which essentially meets the requirements of healthcare and social care, is difficult and hard to get oriented in. The patient is getting lost in the outside world and inside himself as well. The similar holds for the caretakers who are seeking new ways of relating to the person who is not anymore the one they used to know. The can feel left alone and do not see any way out. Alzheimer's disease is a maze in which both the individual and the society are seeking away. Four parts, eleven chapters and 430 pages of the reviewed book offer to its’ readers guidance in this maze using current findings and complete information.
