The art therapy in context.
(review)

Hana Vojtíšková

Books focusing on principles of the art therapy are relatively rare in the Czech Republic. However, this is not the only reason why we can consider this book of two experienced Czech art therapists as an important contribution.

The book “The art therapy in context” was published in 2018 by the Portal publishing house and both its’ authors use their longtime professional experiences in the academia as well as their practice in the art therapy, namely the art work with visually impaired clients and teaching at the art school for visually impaired, operating their private clinic psychological practice and experience with the university teaching. Both authors are connected by their work in the university art therapy atelier, whose specific approach to the process of the art therapy with clients they describe.
