I live in fear – application of a solution-oriented approach in treating psychiatric patients

Abstract

This article offers a practical example of solution-focused therapy with a client diagnosed as seriously mental ill. The case description is supplemented by author/therapis­t’s reflections and by some brief ideas about for example diagnostic labelling, externalisation, resources finding or the expert role of therapist.
