International Conference in Expressive Art Therapies “The Space for Art Therapies“
The International Conference in Expressive Art Therapies “The Space for Art Therapies“ took place on June 18th and 19th 2010 at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The aim of the conference was to create a space for therapeutic approaches that use artistic creativity and expressivity in their work with clients. The conference gained wide support already during the preparation phases and it took place under the patronage of Václav Havel. One of the media partners was the Czech-Moravian Psychological Society. The conference was significant and in a way unique as it was for the first time in the Czech Republic when an event was organized to bring together Czech specialists and supporters of expressive therapies, in addition, with large international attendance.
