Velký psychologický slovník [The Great Dictionary of Psychological Terminology].
(review)

Jiří Hoskovec

An extremely useful and often quoted Dictionary of psychological terminology by Pavel Hartl and Helena Hartlová was published in the year 2000. The authors state that “during the last ten years of their cooperation the work has expanded so much that it has deserved the adjective ´great´. The number of headwords reached nearly twenty thousand. The biographical headwords grew to more than two thousand. An English-Czech terminology dictionary containing for about three thousand terms was added and there are around six hundred new comments.” The book was illustrated by Karel Nepraš.
