Aims and Scope
E-psychologie is an electronic scientific journal in psychology
published by the Czech-Moravian Psychological Society. The journal accepts
original research articles, review articles, and method studies that undergo a
standard blinded peer review process as scientific papers. The non-reviewed
sections offer space for discussion papers, reports from professional events,
book reviews, and insights from related fields. Published articles do not
represent the views of the editors of E-psychologie or the CMPS.
Articles are published in Czech, Slovak, as well as in English. Abstracts and
keywords of all original articles are provided in English.
E-psychologie is published quarterly. The first issue was released in
December 2007.

Open Access statement
E-psychologie is an open-access journal, meaning that all content is
freely available to the user or his/her institution without charge. Users are
allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full
texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking
prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with
the BOAI definition
of open access.
The Statute of E-psychologie (15. 8. 2023)
Review Process
All contributions are initially assessed by the editors for suitability for
E-psychologie. Manuscripts assessed as suitable for
E-psychologie and submitted as research texts are forwarded to the
review process. Manuscripts that need only editors' approval (i.e. do not
require peer review) to be published are practice reflections, discussions, news
(on research projects, professional events, etc.), and book reviews. All types
of research articles need to pass through the review process prior to
publication. E-psychologie uses a double-blind model of scholarly
review to ensure impartiality. Each manuscript receives at least two independent
reviews by reviewers who are experts in the subject and are not in any conflict
of interest with the authors, their institutions or the content in question. If
the reviewers recommend the manuscript for further steps in the review process
and suggest changes, the authors are asked to respond to the review in detail,
addressing the individual reviewers' comments.
Editors reserve the right to reject the manuscript.
