The book „Spirituality in Helping Professions“ is a result of a team work of three co-authors: Zdeněk Vojtíšek, Pavel Dušek and Jiří Motl. The authors evaluate their experiences both from their common field – the Study of Religions – and their specializations: psychotherapy (Z. Vojtíšek), theology and historical ethnology (P. Dušek), psychology of religion (J. Motl).The book presents a solid theoretical base for people working in helping professions (from psychologists, psychiatrists and psychotherapists to social workers and clergymen) and offers them valuable suggestions to explore their own and their clients´ spirituality.
