Forgiveness is a choice: A step-by-step process for resolving anger and restoring hope
(review)

Lucia Martinčeková

The reviewed book is the first psychological manual of forgiveness which originated in the United States, specifically at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The author is Dr. Robert Enright, Professor of Educational Psychology, founder of the International Forgiveness Institute, a therapist and researcher with more than 35 years of experience in the field of forgiveness therapy, intervention, and education, also called as "the forgiveness trailblazer”. The important value of this publication is that it is based on a number of research studies which empirically tested the effectiveness of the forgiveness therapy, and at the same time it describes the process of forgiveness and its individual aspects in a human and understandable language.
