The development of the disaster psychology in Europe: 15 years of Czech Republic’s involvement in the Standing Committee on Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Psychology EFPA

In last 30 years we have witnessed the development of the disaster psychology in the world. The development was encouraged firstly in those countries which had experiences with major disasters. In the European federation of psychological associations this relatively new discipline has been established already for 21 years. The Task Force on the Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Psychology was established by the General Assembly in Dublin in 1997, its original name was the Task Force on Crisis and Disaster Psychology.
