(review)

The goal of the reviewed book is the effort to understand the phenomenon of a family memory. The memory is here stated as memories, or more precisely memory fragments about the past. The family memory according to authors is not really connected to the family structure but rather its’ functionality. Authors in detail describe the process of multi-generation research and dedicate their findings to “all our loved ones and especially to our descendants to whom we tell about the past of our families much less than we would wish to”.
