Kvalita života HIV pozitivních osob

Abstrakt

Studie si klade za cíl prozkoumat faktory, které ovlivňují kvalitu života HIV infikovaných osob. Na základě výsledků mnoha výzkumů byl zjištěn pozitivní efekt na kvalitu života HIV infikovaných osob u těchto faktorů: vysoká hladina CD4+ lymfocytů, nízká virová nálož, zaměstnanost a sociální opora. Zatímco deprese, nízký počet CD4+ lymfocytů, vysoká virémie a souběžná onemocnění (jako např. pneumocystová pneumonie, hepatitida C a cytomegalovirová infekce) mají negativní efekt na kvalitu života. Úloha genderu v oblasti kvality života HIV infikovaných osob není zatím zřejmá. Některé výzkumy dokládají nižší kvalitu života HIV pozitivních žen v porovnání s HIV pozitivními muži, zatímco jiné neprokazují žádné rozdíly. Antiretrovirová terapie má jak pozitivní, tak negativní efekt na kvalitu života. Objevují se zjištění, že souběžná infekce virem HGV může mít pozitivní vliv na se zdravím související kvalitu života HIV infikovaných osob. V dalším výzkumu budou autoři zkoumat efekt infekce virem HGV na celkovou kvalitu života HIV pozitivních osob. Zatím v této oblasti bylo podniknuto málo výzkumů. Objevení faktorů, které ovlivňují kvalitu života HIV infikovaných osob, může zvýšit porozumění jejich potřebám, což může zvýšit jejich adherenci k antiretrovirové terapii a snížit tendence k rizikovému chování.
